Prof. Dr. Vincent Kakembo, Rector of Muteesa I Royal University (MRU), one of the young universities of Uganda, and Juliet Kakembo, International Relations Manager, visited our center.

During the meeting held in Hasan Atsiz’s office, Ugandan and Turkish higher education systems and possible collaborations were discussed. Rector Kakembo found the infrastructure of UZEM very successful and stated that they will work to establish a similar structure in their own university and that they expect the support of OMU UZEM in this regard. Atsiz also expressed their readiness for all necessary cooperation. The guests were also impressed by the possibilities and capabilities of UZEM to broadcast online courses and held a preliminary meeting with MRU about joint online courses.
