Ondokuz Mayıs University Distance Education Centre opens the doors of the education world full of opportunities for you! With the principle of “The most valuable investment is the investment made in people”, we continue on our way from where we left off.

Ondokuz Mayıs University Distance Education Application and Research Centre (OMÜ-UZEM), which started its activities in 2009, aims to create an efficient and effective education and training environment with the help of modern information and communication technologies and to increase the effectiveness of working people in their professional lives by supporting them with programmes prepared to meet today’s needs.

OMU-UZEM adopts the philosophy of student-centred education and continues the whole education process by redesigning it according to the feedback of its stakeholders. OMU-UZEM also endeavours to provide support to the relevant academic or administrative units by conducting scientific and technological research and to increase the cooperation between universities at the international level, which has not yet reached the desired level.
