Distance Education Activities during COVID-19

OMU UZEM Director Prof. Dr. İzzet AKÇA was a guest of TRT Trabzon Radio Köşe Bucak Karadeniz program about OMU Distance Education Activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

OMU UZEM Director Prof. Dr. İzzet AKÇA, who participated in the program as a speaker, gave information about the distance education activities carried out by Ondokuz Mayıs University during the PANDEMI process. Speaking about the technological infrastructure used by OMU UZEM and the associate, undergraduate and graduate programs carried out by OMU UZEM, AKÇA stated that OMU UZEM has successfully overcome the duties and responsibilities it has undertaken during the pandemic process, and that approximately 50,000 students registered to OMU are served in a fast and healthy way.

AKÇA, who also gave official figures about the activities carried out, compared face-to-face education and distance education later in the program and evaluated distance education methods in terms of student success and satisfaction. Detailed information was given about online exams, symposiums, international panels and conferences, on-campus joint course publications and many other topics organized by UZEM.
